Dogtown Frozen Entree Varieties

Dogtown Pizza, in partnership with DiGregorio’s Foods, is pleased to bring you two mouth-watering gourmet frozen entrees that’ll dish up an authentic taste of The Hill to your table in minutes.

Featuring locally-made ingredients and our famous 3-cheese blend, our Mostaciolii with Meatballs and Lasagna frozen entrees are preservative-free and ready to be served and shared with your family.

Dogtown Pizza Gourmet Frozen Entrees are fully cooked. Simply heat and eat to enjoy! 

Lasagna With Meat

Lasagna noodles layered with ricotta cheese, smothered in Italian sausage meat sauce and topped with Dogtown Pizza cheese.

Our Lasagna is a true “heat and eat” meal. Fully cooked and totally delicious, this Lasagna only needs some time in the microwave or oven to be enjoyed. The Lasagna entree is loaded with tasty ingredients. Therefore, it is heavy, thick and full. To go from completely frozen to fully heated requires some time. While we recommend microwaving this entree, there are some other options you have as well.

Mostaciolli with Meatballs

Tender penne noodles slathered in savory marinara sauce, topped with beef and pork meatballs and sprinkled with Dogtown Pizza cheese.

This is a fully cooked product and only needs to be heated to eat. Keep in mind that this entree is full of delicious ingredients, making it thick and heavy. To go from completely frozen to fully heated requires some time. While we recommend microwaving this entree, there are some other options you have as well.

NOTE
Microwave ovens and traditional ovens all vary in wattage and size per home, so heating times may vary to get your entree fully heated.

Frozen Entree Re-heating

Lasagna

From Frozen to Microwave
Remove plastic wrap and the label. Put in the microwave for 12 minutes on high. Let rest for about 5 minutes. Rotate in the microwave and heat for an additional 5 to 9 minutes. Remove the lid and check the center to see if it is fully heated. If not, place lid back on and heat for an additional 3 minutes or until fully heated.

Mostaccioli with Meatballs

From Frozen to Microwave
Remove plastic and label. Keep plastic lid on! Microwave on high for 12 minutes. Carefully remove lid. Stir. Replace lid and continue heating for another 5 to 7 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes. Remove lid and check to make sure it is fully heated all the way through. If it needs to be hotter, put it in for an additional 2 minutes at a time. Serve and eat.

From Frozen to Oven
Remove label, plastic wrap and lid. Cover with foil. Place on metal baking sheet. Preheat oven to 425°. Heat for 45 minutes. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving. Heat to an internal temperature of 160°F.

Defrosting Before Re-heating

Both entrees can be defrosted in the refrigerator and will keep for up to six days before heating. They can then be heated quickly in the microwave or oven. This gives you the option to heat up your entree one portion at a time.

Lasagna

From Defrosted to Microwave
Make sure your entree is fully defrosted in the refrigerator. Remove wrapper and label and place in the microwave for 6 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes. Rotate and cook on high for an additional 6 minutes. Microwaves may vary. Cut, serve and eat!

Mostaccioli with Meatballs

From Defrosted to Microwave
Remove wrapper and label. Keep lid on! Heat for 8 minutes. Remove lid and stir. Heat on high for an additional 4 minutes or until full heated.

From Defrosted to Oven
The Lasagna container is NOT oven-able. Defrost entree in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Transfer Lasagna to an oven-safe baking dish and cover with a lid or foil. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Bake only until fully heated. Oven times may vary.

From Defrosted to Oven
The Mostaccioli container is NOT OVEN-able. Defrost entree in the refrigerator for 24 hours. They are good in the refrigerator for up to 6 days. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Transfer the entree to a oven safe baking dish and cover with a lid or foil. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Bake only until fully heated.
